Rosacea
This is skin condition is generally in adults where the skin appears to have lesions and reddening of the skin which is a kind of flushing.
It is particularly common in middle aged women of Celtic origin and can also appear in men.
It is thought to be due to the Dermodex mite and is commonly affected by daily hormone changes causing the person to be over sensitive to sunlight.
Laser treatment successfully reduces the reddening of the skin and helps control the infected lesions in the majority of people with some people reacting faster to the treatment than others but all can benefit.
We also prescribe nutritional and herbal supplements to help control the condition which can virtually be eliminated.
