What is a non-surgical facelift
?

It is a non-intrusive electrical faradic current treatment that is applied to the muscles to tone and lift them. The facial skin is different from everywhere else on the body because it is attached to the muscles. When people get jowls or sagging of the facial skin, it is because the muscles have become lazy and tired.

How does it work?

During the non-surgical facelift procedure the clinician, who is highly trained in the knowledge of facial muscles, uses the stimulating treatment to shorten elongated muscles, lengthen atrophied muscles and to tone all the muscles of the face.

This lifts the skin back to a more youthful appearance.

How soon am I likely to see a result?

You can look younger and healthier immediately after the first treatment.

Is it safe?

The non-surgical facelift has been around since the mid 1980s in Europe and the most important factor in a clinician using this process is for them to have intimate knowledge of the muscles of the face, so all our clinicians have a biological background.

The great thing is that the client doesn't have to undergo dramatic surgery or anaesthesia which can sometimes be not only dangerous but traumatic to the nervous system.

Our philosophy is if you can do a job more naturally, efficiently and effectively, then that's the first choice a client can be advised to take.

The non-surgical facelift is also far more affordable than cosmetic surgery and falls within the budget of the majority of people.

How often should I have a treatment?

You will be assessed during your free consultation and we normally recommend an initial 10 to 12 weekly treatments to lift and tone the face, followed by a monthly maintenance visit to keep the facial muscles and skin in great youthful condition.

What age do I need to be to have a non-surgical facelift?

A lot of people can benefit from this procedure from their late 20s to those in their 70s and 80s.

For the younger client it is a matter of maintenance and care to keep your face looking good as you age.

For the older client this can be a rescue procedure and progressively produces dramatic changes in tired and sagging skin.

Can I combine it with other treatments?

We often recommend the use of non-surgical facelift alongside microdermabrasion treatment that planes off external wrinkles and lines on the outside of the skin, leaving the surface smoother and younger looking.
