INSTANT HEALTH FUND REBATES THROUGH HICAPS MAY APPLY
All health
funds are different and each health fund has a number of different kinds
of policies. Some policies may include certain services and not others.
Other policies may include those services if they are new policies, but
old ones may not include the services. It is a good idea to ask your health
fund to see if you are covered for the service you wish to claim for.
The responsiblity for ensuring you are covered lies with you, the claimant.
Naturopathy
When paying for a naturopathy session, if you are with a health fund and the cover you have covers you for naturopathy, you can pay on the day with your insurance card through the HICAPS machine. You only pay the gap between what your insurance company has allowed you and the cost of the naturopathy consultation.

Other people may be able to put in a claim at a later date to their health provider with a receipt provided by the naturopath. I am both a naturopath and a clinical hypnotherapist, psychotherapist and counsellor. All the work we do at the centre is done from a naturopathic perspective, so we may use hypnosis during a naturopathic counselling session to help you achieve your goals as well as considering any diet changes, supplements or herbs that may be right for you.
