Welcome to the Australian Health & Education Centre's IPL Laser Clinic.

You can be comfortable and confident in our modern clinic knowing that our staff have many years of experience in dealing with the cosmetic needs of skin procedures. Our operator is a fully trained aesthetician and holder of the Australian Professional Aestheticians Association Gold Award as well as being specifically trained by the manufacturer's representative in the use of the Intensive Light Pulse (IPL) laser machine at our clinic. We use an IPL laser for our treatment because we approach all our treatments from a naturopathic perspective and we believe in a more gentle approach to helping people look after their skin. We know that many clinics use stronger lasers but the reality is that is not necessary and the long-term health of the skin is best served with more gentle approaches to cosmetic changes.

We use an IPL system that emits varied wavelength, broad spectrum and intense pulse light, which permeates the epidermis to the dermis of the skin. Utilising the selective absorption elements, the light is absorbed by the melanin in the hair follicles. Through the optical and thermal effect generated and sourced from the light, it achieves the different treatment purpose according to the different ways in which we use the laser.

The treatment is suitable for men and women and people of any ages and most kind of skins. It can be carried out quickly as it is what is called a 'lunchtime procedure' so you can easily carry on with your day afterwards. We treat a wide range of skin problems with laser, and other treatments are formulated to a specific treatment plan for each individual person.

The needs of each and every client are fully assessed during the initial consultation and full aftercare advice is given to maximise the best results from treatments. A full skin analysis is carried out so we can take into account any special circumstances of that particular person. For some people laser treatment alone may be the treatment of choice and for others we may also suggest complementary approaches including microdermabrasion, non-surgical facelift, nutritional counselling and supplementation and herbs.
